From the Armory....

Hi, I’m Andrew Benton, Master Outfitter with MUDDY BAY® MARINE and the MUDDY BAY® ARMORY. If there is one thing I would want to tell you about me is that I LOVE GUNS. Big guns, small guns, everything from semi auto sporting rifles to 12-gauge pump shotguns. There is just something exciting about the feel of the recoil and the smell of burnt brass and powder, something that feels and smells like freedom and a preservation of a way of life for a lot of us here in the south.

My love affair with shooting started when I was 7-years old. My dad let me shoot his classic Remington Nylon 66 22LR in the woods, by our house. I thought I was king of the world and, even though I didn’t know it at the time, that was the catalyst for a lifelong love of shooting and eventually earninga living in the outdoors industry. I feel truly blessed to get to do something I care about. We didn’t grow up with much but we were fortunate enough to grow up with the space to safely learn about and appreciate firearms and the responsibility that comes with them.

That kind of passion and dedication is what I hope to bring to you, the customer, here at MUDDY BAY® Armory. A respect for shooters and hunters of all ages and skill ranges, staff with the knowledge and understanding to answer your questions and unlike other large gun shops, we are happy to have a conversation and answer any questions you may have so you can feel confident in your purchase here at the armory.
